Notes to self.
Girl, what's that thing on your face? It's a leaf. No, I don't know what kind. My Eagle Scout husband would know; go bother him. My son snapped the photo one afternoon when we were goofing off with the camera. His name is Jesse, thus the reason behind calling myself Jesse's Mom. When I got married, I kept my last name so people wouldn't forget who I was; but when Jesse was born, I became Jesse's Mom to all his friends and their parents--as in "Hi, Jesse's Mom." And I am totally OK with that.
Ugh. The plague is rampaging through our house. SkooterPie has barely left the bed since Sunday. He's ventured out twice to try to go to work, only to come right back home. I left early yesterday and sat on the sofa sipping ginger ale. The kid has been unaffected (except for the latent neglect from having two parents basically bedridden). Thank goodness he's old enough to be self-sustaining. I'm at work today, but I don't know for how long.
