We are so going to lose against UAB tonight. There was a preview story in today's daily. The headline: "Tigers oozing confidence as UAB awaits." The subhead: "Blazers seen as another victim." Read the story and you hear Shawne Williams mouthing off about beating them by 20. Coach Cal has to throw caution to the wind by adding that "league stuff doesn't matter." And that if you start focusing on the league, you're a regional team, and he's building a national program and blah, blah, blah. Shawne's had a great last couple of games, but I honestly don't remember how he did against UAB when we played them here. Wait, I just checked. He scored 10 points. He went 0 for 3 on three-pointers. And from what I remember, that game was close until the very end. So my final analysis: Shut up, Shawne.
