Update on the SkooterPie job hunt front: He accepted a job this morning teaching art at a local high school. That is a reason to celebrate if there ever was one. Woohoo! Hopefully the high schoolers will be better than the middle schoolers, who nearly drove my sweet husband out of his mind.

So, after my work thing last night, I was walking to my parking garage and it suddenly hit me that Tuesday night is Trivia Night at the Flying Saucer, and that meant my friend Ron was probably still Downtown. So I called him and sure enough he and his sister were finishing up their game so I backtracked and met up with them. I had fun hanging out with them and may start going weekly over the summer. They seem to think that I'll add brainpower to the team (and if the questions are about Harry Potter, 1980s pop music or reality TV, they could be right), but they don't really need me. The two of them came in second last night among teams typically made up of about five people.
