At last night's Trivia Night, our little team came in third place. We were aided by the fact that Ron somehow deduced that the fruit given its name for the Aztec word for testicle is the avocado. According to Wikipedia, the avocado is botanically a berry. I had no idea.

I got stuck on the elevator on my way in to work this morning. The doors opened about two inches and then stopped, which led to the start of an angry buzzing alarm about two minutes later. I was trapped with a lady attorney who works in another office on my floor. It's not easy making small talk over a loud alarm. But we were only trapped for about 10 minutes, so no harm. A few weeks ago, though, the air conditioning went out in the building, and THAT was a miserable experience.
