Justin Timberlake is previewing his CD on Good Morning America from Memphis tomorrow morning. Man, I want to go. But every plan I've come up with has failed. I would need to be Downtown by 5:30 a.m. Patrick leaves the house at 6:30 a.m. So, what to do with Jesse? I thought maybe Patrick could drop Jesse off at a classmate's house in the neighborhood and he could ride to school with them. But I would feel bad asking someone to do that so early in the morning. Then I thought, what the hell, I'll take Jesse with me, and he can just be late to school. He'd love to go too. But that's a bad plan too. First, what kind of mother would I be to make my kid late for school because of a concert? Second, he's already going to be going to bed late tonight because of skate night, and that would make him super crabby boy on Friday to get him up so early. And the fact that he really wants to attend the first Freedom Friday of the school year at Lindenwood (which ends at 11 p.m.) would make for a VERY long day. Could SkooterPie pick him up from Lindenwood after school and make him take a nap? Possibly. But it's gotten so complicated at this point that I've given up.
Sigh. Oh well. I hope a good crowd shows up for the hometown boy.

what kind of mother would it make you for your kid to be late because of a concert? In my humble opinion, it would make you a rocking mom. of course, I want you to go so that I can live vicariously through you. why can't they start Good Morning America at a respectable time, say noon? that would work out so much better for you. i do have my tivo set to record.
Sadly, no. I can't drop him off ealier than 7:30, and apparently the organizers of the Beale Street show are saying people need to get there by 5 a.m.!
Cute picture of the boy.
Love you
Mom
