I'm not a baseball fan, and yet I may actually watch the World Series this year. I was soooo happy that the Cardinals beat the Mets last night. There are several players on the team who spent time in Memphis before moving up to the Cardinals: Pujols and Molina come to mind. So, even though I mostly ignore baseball, if someone asked me who I root for, I'd say the Cardinals. BUT. I was also happy to see Detroit make it to the Series and wouldn't be terribly upset if they won it. A hometown boy, Jamie "Cat" Walker, is a Tigers relief pitcher. And that is too cool to think that a McMinnville kid is playing in the World Series. So, really, it's the best of both worlds. For me, anyway.
Weekend plans:
There really aren't any. Jesse's doing the Freedom Friday thing tonight, but SkooterPie and I don't really have plans. It could be nice to have the house to ourselves and not do anything. There's a pep rally at the U of M tonight and a parade, but I don't know if I really want to go. Saturday I could go to the football game or I could go play trivia with my team. I say my team, but I haven't been in two weeks. Of course, they've won the last two weeks without me, so I'm wondering if I'm bringing the team down. I can kind of hear those TJ Mulligan's tater tots and chicken tenders calling my name. Somebody really needs to do some yardwork around the house, and by somebody I mean SkooterPie. I don't know. It's kind of a wide-open weekend.

Hey! That they've won in your absence without your brainpower and that I could answer at least two just goes to show how easy the questions were. I earn my tots with the answer-runner job. Let's all go do some tots soon!
